Patrick Ewing
2008
Ewing earned First Team All-America honors three times while at Georgetown and led the Hoyas to the 1984 NCAA Championship. In the NBA, he was an 11-time all-star and also won two gold medals as a member of the United States Olympic Team.
Elmer Ripley
1973
A player, coach, and tireless promoter of basketball, Ripley had a 20-year professional career (notably with the original Celtics) and a 26-year-long college coaching career, with successes at Georgetown, Yale, Columbia, Notre Dame, John Carroll, West Point, and Regis.
John R. Thompson
1999
In 27 years coaching at Georgetown, Thompson won nearly 600 games, played in 14 consecutive NCAA tournaments (1979-92), made 24 consecutive postseason appearances (20 NCAA, 4 NIT), and won seven Big East tournament championships. 26 of his players were drafted by the NBA (eight in the first round).

Harry (Buddy) Jeannette
