All About The Pirate
Brief history of our mascot: The Seton Hall Pirates earned their name from the Seton Hall basketball team. (Yeah!) The name derived from a sports writer who said the Seton Hall basketball team were nothing but… "…a gang of Pirates!" The team embraced the name, and it stuck.
