Amazing that the Big East is mature enough in 2009 as a Conference to now have players inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Chris Mullin was a 2 time All-American & 3-time Big East Conference Player of the Year at St. Johns. He’s the only one in Big East conference history to earn player of the year honors three times. He is in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. As a senior in 1985, he won of the John R. Wooden Award as the nation’s top college player and helped lead his team to the 1985 Final Four.
